We used Ali Yalniz' company for a two day tour of Istanbul in late July (2015). Because of schedule conflicts, Ali was not able to be our guide but his #1 man Umit stepped in and gave as a great tour. I had preplanned most of the itinerary with Ali so all went smoothly. I opted to go to the Suleymaniye Mosque instead of the Blue Mosque because of possible crowds and i am glad we did. We had the Suleymaniye virtually to ourselves. Spectacular mosque. detail beyond words. That and the Hagia Sophia were the land based highlights. I had also prearranged a private yacht for my group of 11 for a 2 hour cruise on the Bosphorus. What an amazing trip that was. The see Istanbul from the water was great because you got great views of the European and Asian sides. Highly recommend doing this.
