Topanga is the name given to the area by the Native American indigenous Tongva tribe, and it mean "a place above. At 720 feet elevation Topanga is nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains just minutes away from Los angeles and the Valley. During the 1960s, Topanga Canyon became a magnet to many new artists.

Topanga is known as a bohemian enclave attracting artists, musicians, and others. Today, many musicians, artists and actors continue to make Topanga their home. If you are in need of a relaxed spirit, this area has long been known for it's recuperative effects, excellent parks, restaurants, and friendly people beside its creative energy and other delights. We pick you up at your hotel and we start our tour at the Topanga Canyon Gallery, home to 40 well-known and emerging artists with over half of them fromTopanga Canyon.

We then make our way to visit 3 or 4 artists in their studios. You get to see current artists' work, breathe the freshest air in the Southland . . and you may even go home with a new favorite art work and a story to tell.
