Based on your demand, we can plan where to go, the transportation and service.
Option 1: This could be a walking tour around the old quarter, with traditional shop and pagodas. Option 2: Could be a local cuisine tour, which you can taste and learn to cook typical Vietnamese dishes. ( need extra fee and book 5 days in advance).
Option 3: Could be a sightseeing tour around beautiful places in Hanoi. You can choose the destination, I know you read a lot about Hanoi before you go.
Option 4: How about a lake tour in Hanoi, Hanoi have many beautiful lakes and it would be fun having a nice water cycling in windy cool West lake.
Option 5: Hanoi countryside tour: find another peaceful Hanoi in the suburb, seeing the green rice field and vegetable field, know about the way farmers work, or discover the Red river bank.
Option 6: Hanoi Museum tour_ discover the history and culture in scholarly way. There are Army museum, Ethnology Museum, Hochiminh Museum... and many other for your selection.
Option 7: shopping tour_ in the old quarter, local market and Van Phuc silk village tour, you can call it a sightseeing tour if you do not buy anything, it is fine and the choice is up to you. 
Option 8: Well, this option is improvised. Free for children from 1-2 years old. Fee you have to bear: Transportation /Entrance fee /Food & Drinks. I will provide the full package tour fee ( include transportation/ food & drinks/ entrance tickets based on request.
