We're from Australia and have a lot of suppliers in China. We come over at least once a year for business trips. This time was a bit of a surprise. Our regular translator wasn't available, so we reached out to Scarlett through a recommendation. We exchanged a couple of emails—it was easy talking to her, and she came across as direct and genuine. We decided to book her for three days for our factory visits. In terms of her English, she speaks great English—much better than a lot of people in Australia :). Well, she studied for her master's in psychology in Sydney, so no doubt about her English level.
Scarlett is amazing at her work. She sorted out the train tickets, got us to the factories, helped with the translating, and in any spare time she showed us some lovely spots around the cities. We not only had an interpreter but also a friend who created some memorable experiences during our business trip. We felt like real mates—comfortable, and we could trust her.
On top of that, Scarlett is experienced in factory negotiations and observations. Like she said, she worked in procurement during the pandemic. Her psychology background also added an extra bonus—it gives her a good read on people, from sales mindsets to how prices are set. Her value is definitely beyond her fee. We'll be using her services every time we come to China for business or holidays.

The minute we decided to hire Scarlett as our guide for our first trip to China (Shanghai) was the very best decision we made on the entire trip!
We booked Scarlett for 2 days and had been in regular email contact with her for a few months before the trip. Scarlett was extremely prompt in responding to our correspondence, she was very interested in ensuring that she understood what we wanted from our time in Shanghai and she made excellent suggestions for our tour. We wanted to immerse ourselves in the local culture and some of the things Scarlett
arranged for us were, transfers by private car (always on time and very clean vehicles) to and from Airport and Cruise Terminal (this was extremely stress free!!), exploring the city sights in Shanghai (Pear TV Tour, The Bund, riding the Subway etc) traditional Chinese breakfast and lunches, traditional Water Town including yummy local street food, amazing Acrobat Show. Scarlett was such a great guide we
decided to book Scarlett again for another day upon our return from a Cruise to Japan. On that day we took a bullet train ride to Hangzhou and Scarlett showed us around West Lake and a beautiful picturesque tea village where we dined at a fabulous local 5 star restaurant.

I was traveling with my wife, her sister and a family friend. Scarlett was so considerate of each of us and ensuring we were all having a wonderful time. We would describe Scarlett as being very focused on giving her clients a first class experience, she has a wonderful sense of humor, was adaptable to our needs, is very intelligent and has excellent local knowledge. We placed ourselves in Scarlett's
hands and took her advice on things to do and cuisines to try (allowing her to order for us) and we were never disappointed! Scarlett even found a folk for me when I couldn't use the chopsticks. She bought it along each day for me! By the end of our trip Scarlett felt like one of the family and we were really sorry to say goodbye. We have traveled quite a bit but will remember our trip to Shanghai for quite some
time largely due to having Scarlett as our guide. We couldn't recommend her more highly!

3 amazing days with Scarlett in Shanghai, Hangzhou and Suzhou

I was in China mid September for two business meetings and had 3 days off in between. I had been in Shanghai earlier and seen all the major attractions, so I wanted something different this time. Luckily Scarlett was available for these days. Planning before my arrival was so easy - I just told her what I've seen and what kind of adventure I would be interested this time and she responded quickly with initial plans for multiple options. My main wishes were to see the backyards of Shanghai, see nature and have flexible and relaxed days without any fixed hourly schedule.
I have travelled a lot and seen a lot around the globe, but this trip I will surely remember forever, thanks to my excellent travel guide. Firstly, without going to any details, Scarlett simply masters her job perfectly. On top of that, she is a wonderful personality, very easy to communicate with, not only because she speaks very good
English, but also because she is an intelligent young woman who knows a lot also outside her profession. Traveling with her felt more like traveling with a friend. Scarlett is very reliable person, I gave my 3 days travel budget for her and let her take care of all payments. It was so relaxing for me just to concentrate on the views and attractions with no need to worry about the schedule or how to move from place to another, how to find a good restaurant for lunch or dinner, how to pay when the only acceptable payment is WeChat pay (which is true in many places), etc practical
things. She really cares about your money like it was her own and does not try to fool you at any single moment.
Treat her well and feed her well and you will surely understand why she has so many
5-star reviews.
