Information about Vienna

Austria’s smallest state, Vienna, lies in splendor between the foothills of the Alps and the Carpathians, along the beautiful Danube. It is a lovely city, filled with a surprising blend of historical and contemporary attractions. You can experience a marvelous vacation here, and with the assistance of your private guide in Vienna you can make the most of your time in the Imperial City.

From ancient palaces and churches to museums and theaters to an enormous amusement park ride and a living apartment building, Vienna offers plenty of must-see sites and enjoyable activities. The Schonbrunn Palace and the Belvedere Palace are both magnificent structures surrounded by parks with fountains, statues and flowers. Your private guide Vienna can also take you to see the glorious St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the most important religious building in Vienna.

Several world renowned museums reside in Vienna, such as the Albertina Museum, and one of the oldest fine arts museums in the world: Kunsthistorisches. You may want to enjoy a performance at the Imperial Court  Theater, Burgtheater, or take in the wondrous spectacle inside Schmetterlinghaus, the Butterfly House. You should also see Hundertwasserhaus, a rare “living” building with plants of every kind growing on the roof and inside the rooms.

There are 1000 unknown secrets in Vienna. Only some of them are that Vienna is the world capital of classical music, a paradise concerning cuisine, a cultural melting pot as the former Habsburg capital city. But also smaller towns like Salzburg, Innsbruck, Linz or Graz are full of secrets. That is what I want to show you.

Wolfgang Vienna, Austria

We had a spectacular day with Vienna Guides. We treated ourselves to a private all day tour and it was well worth it. We received the royal treatment with Wolfgang, whose knowledge of Vienna and Austria, both past and present, made for an interesting day and great conversation. There were two stops for lunch and coffee at historical restaurants that we would never experienced on our own. We still talk about it to our friends. Thank you Wolfgang! Jody, Carol & Dave Wilson

Questions about Vienna
Greetings. My husband and I purchased the Vienna Pass. While it gives audio tours of the Schoenbrunn Palace, we are looking for an actual Tour guide for the S. Palace. Do you have any recommendations for such a tour given that we already get in free to the Palace. Thank you.
