Before I became a professional tour guide I was very passionate in presenting city of Dubrovnik to my friends and relatives, so I'm happy and motivated to be your tour gude as it's really a task I do with a pleasure.

I lived whole my life in Dubrovnik where I was born and where I finished a university. I'm among last 1000 citizens who live just inside Dubrovnik Old City center, which I see as my playground but also as my office because I always meet friends and other colleagues – tour guides when I step out from my house.

History of City of Dubrovnik, which used to be an independent Republic untill 1806 is really fascinating but the ancient arhitecture of the city will also surprise you.

The best known highlight are preserved City Walls which encircle the whole Dubrovnik Old City and which haven't been changed since 17th century.

The spiritual heritage of Dubrovnik is enormous and I'm looking forward to explain you how a tiny Republic survived for almost 500 years in turbulent Balkan area inbetween uncomparable stronger rivals and enemies (Ottoman Empire, Venetians and others). Simple answer will be a patience, work and determination of Republic leaders.
