Robina - Private Guide in London
Blue Badge tourist guide for London, South West England and Cumbria/Lake District
Languages: English, Italian
My name is Robina and I work as a professional private guide in England. I am a qualified Blue Badge tourist guide for London, South West England and the Lake District/Cumbria, registered with the Institute of Tourist Guiding and the British Guild of Tourist Guides. I offer a wide range of sightseeing tours, walks and museum visits, but I mainly work as a driver-guide.
We can use either public transport or my personal vehicle, a 6 passenger minivan. I have been working in the tourism industry for more than 20 years and I really enjoy my work. I have passed special endorsement courses for various interesting places and landmarks in London and England, including the Houses of Parliament, the British Museum, London's 2012 Olympics, Canterbury Cathedral and York Minster. I am constantly expanding my knowledge in all that concerns the history and culture of London.
I offer various guided tours in London for families, groups of friends, couples or individuals interested in learning something new and exciting about London. I am also happy to provide private tours in London for wheelchair users, and make their holiday in England unforgettable and exciting. It is worth noting that I speak Italian fluently. All of my tours are flexible, so we can exclude some places and add others according to your interests. It will be my pleasure to help you have a wonderful holiday in England.
I will meet you at your hotel or flat and take you on the tour of your choice. At the end of the day I will drop you back at your hotel or some other central London location if you prefer.
I also provide overnight tours around Britain and day tours from London by fully insured and licensed private car.
I am qualified for the West Country, which includes Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire, so there are many places associated with literature, King Arthur, prehistory and stone circles in this area. My third qualification is for the Lake District in the NW of England, which is known for its spectacular beauty. People often pass through the Lake District on their way to or from Scotland, but never have time to explore the area. There are historic houses, Hadrian's Wall, lakes, mountains and associations with William Wordsworth, Beatrix Potter and many other authors. Come and discover the lesser known parts of Britain with my help.
