Athens is a great place to explore. It is literally filled with history so it seams that every stone has an exciting story to tell. Of course it is impossible to see all the landmarks and places of interest in Athens at once, but I will show you only the so-called highlights of this sublime marvelous city.

We will start our guided tour in Athens from the St. George Lycabettus. It is said to be the highest place in the city. You will enjoy a breath-taking view of the Athens from this point. Make sure you have your camera with you, because the view is incomparable. Not far from this hill you will notice a lovely small chapel of St. George, which was built in the 19th century. The next stop in our private tour of Athens will be the President’s Palace. Here you will be able to see the changing of the presidential garrison. According to the tradition the guards will walk to Syntagma Square, till the Monument of the Unknown Soldier.

This monument is dedicated to all the soldiers who died in various wars that Greece took part in. Then we will proceed to the Parthenon, which is considered to be one of the 7th world wonders.
