My name is Kieran. I am a certified tour guide and I have an honours Masters degree in Medieval Studies although I have an interest in all periods of history. I have been favourably reviewed in international publications such as Die Welt, VG and Vogue and I have appeared on Australian and Argentinian television. I have also provided tours for over 50 international media companies on behalf of our national tourist body. I enjoy sharing our history with people and helping them understand our culture.

My first guided tour in Ireland was with Kieran in March 2012, and I consider myself very lucky in that regard. I cannot underscore enough just what a delightful, informative, and truly decent man Kieran is...his credentials are impeccable but his style is that of a master story-teller/adventurer--you are glued to his every word and always following his lead! As he effortlessly conducts you through your special tour, any issues which come up (long lines, traffic, weather, etc.) he makes "disappear" with a just wave of his hands, it seemed to me! What Kieran taught me on my first voyage to Ireland (through the Boyne Valley) proved to be most excellent knowledge insofar as my subseqent private return to Erin in November 2012 was concerned. And like others who've posted comments, I will always consider Kieran my friend. Thank you, sir, for your love of castles!
