By visiting this remarkable district, you will learn about the latest developments in using all possible types of energy including the sun, water, wind and even junk recycling.  You will also have the opportunity to admire some of the most picturesque Dutch landscapes and learn about the tremendous land reclamation project, which was even included in the UNESCO World Heritage list. Speaking about the reclamation project, it’s interesting to note that the general layout of the channels and strips of land embodied in this project was used as a base for the general street plan of the New York City.
