This one day tour departing from Bucharest will take you back hundreds of years to the bloody medieval times. The tour focuses on the legendary character of  Vlad the Impaler, the medieval prince who inspired the myth of Dracula, but also includes elements that connect the distant past with Romania's royal family.

The tour includes two visits at some of the most important medieval fortresses in Romania: from Targoviste and Poenari, both actively used by Vlad the Impaler in his battles againts the Ottoman Empire.

Between the two, we stop at the Monastery from Curtea de Arges, one of the most beautiful religious landmarks in Romania, where Romania's kings and queens are burried.

At the end of our tour we stop to admire the large Vidraru Lake, surrounded by spectacular mountain views.

The tour is kid friendly, offring a fun and memorable experience for the little ones.
