Yusupov palace belonged to one of the most famous, noble and wealthiest families of Russia. It enters the UNESCO list as one of the most luxury private palaces in the world. It doesn’t only accommodate original interiors like Arabian Hall, Domestic Theatre, Dancing Hall, but it keeps a lot of secrets. It was here where at night on the 16th to the 17th of December 1916 was murdered Rasputin, illiterate Siberian peasant, who became favorite and private healer of the last Russian tsar Nicolas II and his family. There is the exhibition devoted to Gregory Rasputin in the basement of the palace. You we’ll visit this mysterious place and listen to the detective story concerning his assassination.
