We usually start our guided tours in Buenos Aires from the San Martin square where we enjoy the site of marvelous residences such as Fernandez Anchorena Palace and the Paz Palace situated around it. The Anchorena Palace is of great importance from the architectural point of view.

Currently it serves as the Apostolic Nunciature in Buenos Aires, and in Argentina as a whole. As regards the Paz Palace, it used to be a mansion in Recoleta barrio, but nowadays it is a social military club. La Recoleta cemetery has a world-wide fame, that’s why we would pay special attention at it. Recoleta as a whole owes its popularity namely to its cemetery. It appeared at the beginning of the 19th century and was designed by a famous French architect Prosper Catelin. There are lots of famous figures buried in La Recoleta cemetery, and some of the graves are visited daily as the place of eternal rest of Eva Peron.
