Discover Hvar: A Mediterranean Paradise of Sun, Culture, and Glamour

Voted one of the ten most beautiful islands in the world and celebrated by top international publications, Hvar Island is the Mediterranean’s best-kept secret—until now. Known for its crystal-clear waters, pure air, and healing qualities, this stunning island has been a sought-after destination since ancient Greek times.

With its uniquely sunny micro-climate, unspoiled landscapes, and rich cultural heritage, Hvar became one of the first tourist hotspots in the Adriatic. Once whispered to be the next St. Tropez, Hvar has effortlessly earned its place as Croatia’s trendiest summer destination. Now, it’s a must-see for travelers in search of an authentic yet glamorous Mediterranean experience.

Join me on a journey through Hvar’s past and present, where luxury meets history and nature intertwines with modern allure.

What Makes Hvar So Special?

  • Award-winning Natural Beauty: Crystal-clear seas, stunning lavender fields, and scenic views from every angle.
  • Historic Charm: From Venetian alleys to UNESCO-protected ancient landscapes, Hvar offers a blend of the old and new.
  • Sophisticated Yet Authentic: A glamorous Mediterranean getaway without the crowds, where history, culture, and natural beauty converge.

Tour Highlights

  • Hvar Town – We’ll begin with a leisurely stroll through Hvar City, exploring charming Venetian stone alleys, hidden streets, and picturesque water wells. Don’t miss the view from the city fortress, where you’ll be treated to panoramic vistas of the sparkling Adriatic and the island’s lush terrain.
  • Lavender Fields & Villages – From Hvar Town, we’ll head out on the scenic road that winds through small island villages and fragrant lavender fields. You’ll experience the serene beauty of rural Hvar as we drive toward the oldest town on the island, Stari Grad.
  • Stari Grad (Old Town) – A UNESCO World Heritage site, Stari Grad is home to the Stari Grad Plain, an ancient cultural landscape that dates back to the 4th century BC. The agricultural activities of the ancient Ionian Greeks still persist here, with centuries-old stone walls, shelters, and a perfectly preserved land division system known as the chora. It’s a living museum of history, untouched by time.
  • Vrboska – Our next stop is Vrboska, a 15th-century fishing harbor. This small village is home to the fortress Church of St. Mary (Sv. Marija), which was built in the 16th century as a refuge for locals during turbulent times. The charming streets and peaceful ambiance of Vrboska will take you back in time.
  • Jelsa Wine-Tasting – Optional final stop is the village of Jelsa, where you’ll have the opportunity to taste some of the finest wines in Croatia. We’ll visit a local winery, where you can tour the production area and enjoy a private wine-tasting session in the cellar. This is the perfect place to unwind, sip on delicious local wines, and experience Hvar’s rich history and culture through its flavors.
