The most exciting view of the Adriatic Sea it's from the Marjan hill, that you'll have a chance to reach it on this tour. Here we will relax for a moment to enjoy the view with a hot/cold drink. Here was established the old Jewish cemetery of Split in 1573 on the eastern slopes of the Marjan hill, overlooking the city. The cemetery offers a unique display of traces of the past. There are over 700 graves, with readable tombstones from the 18th-20th centuries. The last burial at this cemetery took place in 1945 when it was closed and protected as a monument. 

Later we'll continue exploring the historical complex of Split in the Palace of Diocletian and the Medieval part. The ruins of Diocletian's Palace, built between the late 3rd and the early 4th centuries A.D., can be found throughout the city where we'll have our sightseeing. The cathedral was built in the Middle Ages, reusing materials from the ancient mausoleum. Twelfth and 13th-century Romanesque churches, medieval fortifications, 15th-century Gothic palaces and other palaces in Renaissance and Baroque style make up the rest of the protected area.

A unique experience starting from the panoramic view over the 1700 years old town and later walking through the most exciting "city-palace" that will leave everyone breathless...
