First, we'll have a chance to visit the islet of Trogir – situated just 16 miles from Split Trogir has a history which dates more than 2000 years back in time, due to its geographical position between the mainland and the Island Ciovo. Trogir has been Greek, Roman, Venetian and even French, and all of them has to some extent contribute to the cultural heritage of the city.

Today the Old Town (the islet) is a UNESCO world heritage site. It has one of the highest church densities in the world, beautiful buildings in the Romanesque, Renaissance and Baroque architectural style. Of all the many things to do in Trogir, it is the visit to the Cathedral of St. Lawrence (Trogir Cathedral) (in Croatian – Sveti Lovro) and a climb on the Kamerlengo Castle from which you’ll have an outstanding view over the town, nearby islands and over one of the 10 most unusual soccer stadiums in the world.

Later on, we'll drive back to Split where it's situated our second UNESCO site: the Palace of the Roman Emperor Diocletian (Diocletian's palace). The ruins of his Palace are built between the late 3rd and the early 4th centuries A.D. and can be found throughout the city.

Once that used to be the Diocletian’s mausoleum from the Middle Ages become the Cathedral of Split city. The 12th and 13th Romanesque churches, medieval fortifications, 15th century Gothic palaces and other palaces in Renaissance and Baroque style make up the rest of the protected area. Passing through the small alleys, around sharp corners and hidden squares you’ll find yourself caught in unique breathless maze of history…
