There’s something really inspiring and relaxing in the slow movement of the cruise ship and the numerous visits to some of the most amazing places located in the Upper Nile region of the country. This three day cruise will take you there and provide a great memory of your vacation.

Day 1: You’ll be taken to Aswan, which is situated in a few hours’ drive from Luxor, and embarked on the cruise ship. Once on board, you will enjoy accommodation and two main stops in this part of the river. First of all, you will get a view the immense High Dam – a colossal structure build for protecting the lower bands of the Nile from frequent floods. Then you’ll disembark at the Philae Island and discover the huge temple built to favor the goddess Isis.

Day 2: The second day of the trip will have two full stops for discovering two remarkable temple complexes located in the towns of Kom Ombo and Edfu respectively. The first complex is a very well preserved temple where the god Horus was revered. This falcon-headed deity was one of the most worshipped during the entire history of Ancient Egypt. The second temple is an interesting place since it revered two deities simultaneously – Horus and Sobek.

Day 3: Continuing the cruise down to Luxor, you will have a whole dedicated to exploring its remarkable sites with your private guide in Luxor. Starting with the Valley of the Kings, we’ll travel further to the Hatshepsut complex, and also stop by the remarkable singing Colossi of Memnon. The other half of this action-packed day will take you to the enormous complex of Karnak and afterward Luxor Temple. And this is where our trip will end.
