Discover one of the most remote and untouched regions of the Karakoram — the Shimshal Valley. Here lies Manglik Sar, a trekking peak standing at 6,050 meters, successfully summited many times by our experienced local guides and mountaineers.

Manglik Sar is located in the very heart of the Karakoram Range, in the Shimshal Valley — the most isolated valley in the region. These mountains are known for their ruggedness and host many unclimbed peaks. Against this dramatic backdrop, the ascent of Manglik Sar becomes a real adventure, yet remains accessible to well-prepared trekkers.

Expedition Route

The journey begins in Islamabad or Gilgit, followed by a scenic drive along the legendary Karakoram Highway to Hunza (Karimabad). From there, 4x4 jeeps take us deep into the Shimshal Valley.

From the village, it’s a three-day trek to the base camp located at the foot of the peak. From base camp, we continue the ascent and then return along the same route.
