This tour is mainly planned for Star Wars fans.it explores Tunisia from Djerb to Tunis focusing on the most beautiful filming locations of this famous movie such as Medenine(Anakin Skywalker's Home) Ksar Hadada(The Phantom Menace) and Sidi Bouhlel(Raiders of the Lost Ark) .The tour also focuses on the most interesting archeological sites of the country like Kairouan, Tunisia's holy city, Bulla Regia and its mysterious underground Roman houses and Dougga , the best preserved Roman city in North Africa.

Day : 1 Djerba-Tatouine-Matmata-Douz Today we depart to Medenine, a well-known Berber village famed for its Ghorfas, a fascinating dwelling once used by the nomad tribes. From Medenine we drive to Ksar Hadada, one of the most picturesque ksour, (a ksar is a Berber granary).It was built to store and protect barley, wheat, and olive oil. The ksar is made of stone, gypsum, and mud. The ksar is built of overlapping vaults stacked on top of each other, so it looks like the scales of a fish. It was also used as a movie set for Star Wars 1 - The Phantom Menace. Afterwards, we'll explore the village Douiret, then we head to Matmata After lunch we will injoy a visit to a Berber family living in a troglodyte dwelling dug vertically into the ground and Sidi Driss, the location filming of Star Wars 1(1979) then we continue our way to Douz. The village is known as the gateway to the Sahara and famous for camel trek to admire the desert overnight in Douz.

Day : 2 Douz Tozeur Chebika - Tamerza In morning we depart for further exploration of the south crossing the impressive salt lake. we stop in Sidi Bouhlel where Many shots, from many different scenes in Star Wars: ANH were filmed, against a still very recognizable rocky background.Next we will have a walking tour in the daily market and the old town to see the real daily life and admire the unique architectural style of this city. In the afternoon we will visit Ong Ej Jemal(the camel's neck) the location filming of Star Wars. (Decorations Tatooine) It is situated between huge sand dunes. Then we depart towards southwest to reach the mountain oasis of Mides, Chebika and Tamerza. Here you will enjoy a walking tour through the palm trees and the natural water springs.Overnight in Tamerza

Day : 3 Tamerza-Métlaoui - Kairouan After breakfast our tour will set out for the town of Metlaoui, where we will board the Red Lizard train. The Red Lizard inches through narrow passageways and tunnels dug into the canyon walls and deep gorges. On our train ride we will discover the Selja Gorge and view the incredible landscape .After lunch we head to Kairouan, Tunisia's holy city and said to be the site of the first mosque in Africa. During medieval times, Kairouan rose to become an important center for trade and crafts. The region still provides the base for much of Tunisia's craft industry, particularly rugs and textiles. Day : 4 Kairouan -Bulla Regia-Dougga We depart to Bulla Regia , The site includes a number of mysterious subterranean Roman houses that were decorated with beautiful floor mosaics, some of which are still in place. After visiting Bulla Regia we head to Dougga ; the best preserved Roman city in North Africa. The ruins of an amazing civilisation away from a major center. The level of preservation and detail that remains is fascinating and the access to all parts of the site is excellent. At least 11 temples have survived, of which the Capitol and the Temple of Caelestis are the greatest. Overnight in Tunis

Day : 5 Tunis –Carthage This touring day centers around Tunis’s archaeological heritage, and its wealthy architecture. This morning includes a visit to the Medina old Arabic city as well as the Bardo National Museum displaying the world’s largest collection of Roman mosaics and other priceless treasures from various parts territories throughout Tunisia. In the afternoon we move to Carthage to explore the Roman baths of Antonine and the Roman villas.

After Carthage we stop in Sidi Bou Said for a walk through its streets with spectacular views over the bay and the mountains beyond .
