Exploring all the wonders of Egypt that are open for tourist visits can take you several weeks. Here’s our program for the days we’ll spend together exploring different aspects of Ancient Egypt:

Day 1: A day of meet and greet, when you’ll be accommodated in the hotel and accustomed to some of the local traditions. Some free time to rest after the flight and before the intense traveling of the next day.

Day 2: Prepare for a day full of ancient wonders as we’ll explore the most fascinating sites around Cairo. First, we’ll drive to the must-see site of the Great Pyramid of Giza. After exploring the tremendous Giza Necropolis, we’ll set out to the one located in Saqqara. This is where the oldest pyramids have been built to house the nobles from Memphis, which will also be visited.

Day 3: A day fully devoted to exploring Luxor, the city built upon the famous Thebes. Important historic sites are located at the both banks of the Nile River, and we’ll start with the visit to the Valley of the Kings, explore several tombs and continue to the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut complex and several other sites. On the East Bank we’ll enter two prominent complexes – Karnak and Luxor. In the night it’s time to return to Ciaro.

Day 4: Cairo has much more sites that are a must-see besides the Pyramids. First of all, we’ll enter the Egyptian Museum to explore its tremendous artifact collection. Then we’ll head over to the Saladin citadel and its mosques. And of course, visit the famous Khan el-Khalili Bazaar for some shopping prior to your departure.
