Hello there! My name is Jaime and I work as a private guide in Puerto Varas. It is worth noting that I can organize different tours not only in Chile, but also in several other countries of the South America: Peru, Brasil, Uruguay, Buenos Aires and Cartagena. First of all let me introduce myself. I was born in Chile, but as it is obvious from my name, I have German origin. Since my childhood I was interested in foreign languages and different cultures. That’s why I am fluent in several languages: Portuguese, Hebrew, English and Spanish.

I spent several years in Europe and Middle East working and travelling extensively. When I returned to Chile, I was given an opportunity to work in the capacity of a tour leader for several Chilean travel agencies. At first the tours were designed only for larger groups, the schedules were tough and there was almost no flexibility in the itinerary and general organization. These were commercial customized tours. I was always eager to share my knowledge and experience with other people, but it appeared to me that it is more difficult if you have to deal with large groups of people. In this case the tours are not personified, on the contrary they are all the same continuously repeating. That’s why I decided to join Chile private guides and continue my work offering private tours. This approach seemed to be more interesting and intriguing.

I offer my service to different kind of tourists – sole travelers, members of a family, groups of friends, people on business trips and so on. The truth is that I am very fond of my motherland, and I am always enthusiastic about helping other people discover its beauties and charm. All the tours I offer are flexible, which means that you are welcome to share with me your ideas regarding the holiday you would like to have. I always appreciate the participation of my clients in the process of the itinerary planning. This way we can achieve a better understanding and avoid the situation where you have to visit a place you don’t want to.
